Welcome to our website, and welcome to our blog! In case you're not familiar with blogs, they function as on-line diaries of sorts. We're hoping that ours will provide you with a deeper insight into Peninsula Heat, as well as inform you about the ins and outs of HVAC, from new technologies to simple advice on getting the most out of your heating system.

A lot happens in and around PenHeat that's going to be worth writing about, and since I'll likely be the one writing a lot of it, perhaps I should introduce myself. My name's Pete, and I've spearheaded what you've seen on our website so far. I have a background in multimedia and television journalism, so when Ken started talking about a website one evening, the ideas just started flowing.

Peninsula Heat is a company all about face to face relationships, so it's been both a pleasure and a challenge to represent it in a digital form. I'd like to thank all the folks in the company for their openness, friendliness and technical support, as well as local photographer Eric Neurath for an energetic day of shooting, and most of all Pete and Hall of Dungeness Communications for all the backstage Drupal work, and tossing countless ideas back and forth with me over late night emails.

And then of course there's Ken Lofstrom himself, who gets a big hats off for having the courage, time, and energy to create a website that is every bit as unique as PenHeat itself.
